Vintage stamps

If you have been into the shop lately you would have seen a display using the Vintage Kaiser stamps seen below. We used shades of browns on the display and made 10 cards using the 4 stamps in the series. You can find the blog post called "Sears & Sons" which was written on 28/8 featuring these cards.

Below we have used the stamps but with brighter colours. By teaming them up with the new Bo Bunny Detour paper it changes their look. We also used a quick drying ink (StazOn or Memento) which gives you much more detail when the images are stamped out.

You can also remove the wording from the stamp and replace it with your own as we have done above. This technique is called masking. Place a Post It note over the area that you want to mask. Ink up your stamp. Remove the note and stamp out your image. We have used the Mini Letter Stickers from Kaiser to put in out own wording. This technique makes the images more versatile.
