Surfboard Card Classes

Our new classes will be running from this Fri for several weeks.  We will be using Distress Markers and Water Brushes along with one of the gorgeous Darkroom Door photo stamps, charms  and BoBunny 12" printed paper to recreate the Surfboards card that some of you may have already seen.  Jill has also coloured the image using a variety of different mediums so that you will be able to see how you can maximise the use of the stamp.  The classes will cost $35.00 and run for 1 to 1 1/2 hours.  At the completion of the class you will take home your completed card and a kit valued at more than $22.00 containing the stamp, charms and enough paper product to make two more cards at home.

Classes are as follows:

* Friday 16 August @ 12.00 noon and 2 pm

* Wednesday 21 August @ 9.30am, 12.00 noon and 2 pm

* Friday 23 August @ 9.30am, 12.00 noon and 2 pm

* Saturday 24 August @ 9.30am, 12.00 noon and 2 pm

The only thing you will need to bring is yourself and a roll of double sided tape.

Thursday 8 August 2013

The August release of Kaiser double sided Scrap Booking Paper has arrived and we have arranged the shop to accommodate them and the range of Graphic 45 papers that we finally have.  They are old stock but new to the shop so next time you are in make sure you have a look.  Jill made up this cute sample card with one of the Kaiser ranges.

Have you checked out our new range of charms - they are substantially made from metal and not plastic and the range is just gorgeous.  Jill has made up some great sample cards that show them off.  All the products she used are available in the shop.  My fave is the robot because he is jointed and you can move him around.

Petaloo Products

We have received some great new products from Birch including the Petaloo range of blossoms.  Jill has made up this beautiful sample using  some of them.  She has also used some of the Elements Split Pens (Brads), paper from the Kaiser Enchanted Garden range, the Fantastic Flourish One and Petite Labels One Spellbinders as well as some Bazzill Bling and Bubble 12" Card stock.  Next time you are in the shop make a point of having a look at this because the photo just doesn't do it justice.
