Pretty pink flowers

Shirley (one of our very clever customers) made these two gorgeous cards for us which we have up on display in the shop. She has used two of the lovely new stamps from Stamp It - Geraldton Wax and Magnolia.

MagnoliaGeraldton Wax

This card features the Magnolia stamp. Shirley has used the Deckled Oval Spellbinder die set (her favourite set) along with the deckled blade (her favourite blade) on her Carl Craft paper trimmer. The Magnolia stamp was coloured in with Tombow Pens (772, 723, 725, 757, 138, 158) and then with Gelly Rollers (719, 720, 721, 727). Shirley puts a dob of the Gelly Roller onto her stamped image and then uses a paint brush to brush it over the image and this puts a lovely metallic sheen over the coloured petals.

The Geraldton Wax image has also been coloured in with Tombow Pens (673, 725, 670, 158) and Gelly Rollers (720, 721)  The centres of the flowers are embellished with rhinestones and the layer that had been stamped on has  had the edges inked. Thanks Shirley for sharing your lovely cards with us.
Both stamps used, the Tombow Pens and the Gelly Rollers are available at Crafty Capers.
