The very clever people at Kaiser have also used Mister Fox to construct these amazing creations.

I wonder what you can create with some of the Mister Fox papers?

Jo's mini album

Jo recently taught a class which featured her mini album. Here is another variation of it that she featured the Couture Creations blog.

Hello!  Today I am sharing a little mini album I have made using one 12 x 12 sheet of cardstock and the gorgeous Damask Delight paper pad

This did prove a little hard to photograph so I hope you get the idea of it.

Here is the cover.  It has a belly band around the middle to hold it together.  I have used the Chandeliers Set from the Momento Ornamental Dies collection to make the band.  I then cut 2 of the from the Heritage die which is part of the Glamour Days collection.  I stuck them side by side and overlapped them a bit.  I then stamped my sentiment onto the Cameo die.  This is from the Secret Treasures collection.  Stick it all together and you have your focal piece for the belly band.

This pic shows how the belly band looks when its slipped off the book so it can be opened.

The top part lifts up and has two pockets for tags or tickets.  I embossed the bottom part using the Asian Wave embossing folder from the Harmony Collection

The book then opens to the left.  I have kept my embellishments very simple as there wasn't a lot of room.

Peaking out you will see two doilies.  The is the Mirror Mirror die from the Madeline Ornamental Dies Collection.  I also used some silver Glitzen Glamour to fancy up my lamp post which is from the Glamour Days Collection.

The right hand page then flips up for more space for photos.  Down the side I have used the Chandeliers Setfrom the Momento Ornamental Dies Collection and also some jade coloured gemstones.

The next page is a little pocket and holds another tag.  I have used my heart nesting dies to embellish this page.

Hope you like my little flip book.  Below is a photo of how I have cut and measured my cardstock to make it.

This next pic will give you an idea how I folded it to make the bare bones of your mini.  There really isn't a right or wrong way to fold it.  By folding different ways you come up with a different book everytime.  This little mini album also makes up a lot quicker by just using a 12 x 12 piece of double sided patterned paper too.

Thanks for letting me share.  Hope I have inspired you to give it a try!

Easel card by Jo,

Here is another great creation by Jo. She made this last year for the Couture Creations blog. You can follow the instruction and use the dies that you have at home to make your own Easel card.

Hey everyone, it's Jo and I'm up on the blog today to show you how I have created this little shaped easel card using the Couture Creations Nesting Dies.

Fold a piece of cardstock in half and place the largest die from the Victorian Square Nesting Dies onto the folded card with just the edge of the die hanging over the fold.

Run this through your cuttlebug.  This is now your bottom half of your card

This is what you will be left with.  Fold the top piece in half so that the card can stand.

Cut out another white piece in the largest die and attach it to the bottom of the folded part of the card.

Next I used the largest die and traced around the middle of it and cut it out by hand so that I had a smaller border

I then ran it thru my cuttlebug using the Crazy Daisy embossing folder.  I used core cardstock and sanded back the top.

I then used my paper piercer from the 3 piece handheld tool set to be able to hand sew around the edges.

It is then just a case of embellishing this piece and attaching it to your card.

I have used the Enlightenment die underneath the paper flower and also the Tranquility die

I have tucked a core-dinations tag behind the flower and also used the Turkish Delight embossing folder for the leaves.

Mount your sentiment onto the bottom half of the card with mounting foam so that the card can stand up.

Here is another one I made using the scallop and circle nesting dies.

Until next time,
