Ejection Foam

Jill found this great tutorial on the Couture Creations blog on how to use Ejection Foam.

If you like the tutorial, make sure you pick some up next time you are in the shop.

Couture Creations Ejection Foam Tutorial

Couture Creations Ejection Foam is thin adhesive foam that is attached to dies to help stop cardstock or paper sticking in the dies.

We have had many emails on how to use the ejection foam. Here is a quick tutorial by Kerrie Gurney showing you how easy it is to attach Couture Creations Ejection Foam to our dies.

Peel the backing paper off

place die blade side down on sticky side

place paper back on covering the die, this is to stop the ejection foam sticking to cutting plates.

place foam side up in die cutting machine

run through die cutting machine as you would any die

peel backing paper off and remove excess foam

place die foam side up on diecutting machine cover with cardstock and run through machine

remove excess cardstock

lift off die cut shape

pop out bits

and there you have a die cut without any drama.

Couture Creations recommends you use Couture Creations Ejection Foam in all of our Decorative & Doily Dies.

Tip - If you find the cardstock or paper starting to stick in the die, just add another layer of foam as the foam will flatten with excessive use.
