Marie's flowers

Marie (another one of our very clever customers) made up these two gorgeous cards (and a few more that I will show you soon) and brought them in to show us a few weeks ago. I have always loved this paper set from Kaiser. The brown and blue colours on the print went together so well.  If you dig around in your paper stash you might find that you have some already. As it is an older design it is no longer available. 

Marie loves creating, hand cutting and putting fiddly things together.

The top of the flower pot (the section with the flowers glued onto it) pulls out and you write on this panel. This card was made using a variety of punches and the pot was cut by hand. 

The second card features a Sizzix die that we have often used in the shop before. It has a flower, stem and leaves and is called Flourish, Floral with Leaves. You can also use other flowers with the stem and leaves which means it is very universal. We featured the stem and leaves on a recent post . It is on the easel display board with the saying "Creativity is allowing yourself..."
