Happy Birthday to Jill. It is her birthday today and she gets to celebrate it with a long weekend .
One of our customers (Lynn) made Jill this lovely card below using the Poppy stamp from Stamp It and a labels die from Spellbinders. Lynn made a gate fold card which has the opening in the centre of the card. The Poppy stamp has been stamped onto red card and then cut out. It has been stamped a second time onto white and the red flower heads glued into place. The red, black and white looks stunning together. Great job Lynn!!!!!!!!
Here are some more box cards that our customers made recently.
Joy has used a red (card) base for her box along with green (printed paper) flowers (with rhinestones in the centre of each), a butterfly and the layers on the front flaps. I love the way she has combined red, green and ivory together - the box looks fabulous!!!!
Angie loves to hand make her embellishments that she features on her cards by quilling. Quilling is rolling up very thin (2,3,5mm) pieces of paper and cutting/gluing them into shape. You might remember her lovely little quilled flowers she featured on my birthday card. She loved the kite paper that she purchased from us so much that she decided to turn it into a box and quilled (can you even imagine how much time it took to quill each kite and the tail) the kites that are featured on the inside of the box and glued them to acetate to give them the appearance that they are floating in the sky. She inserted a row of grass across the centre of the box as a feature. The grass and the picket fence was made using the Fiskars Border Punches. Your box looks amazing Angie!!!!!!
