Sizzix Thinlits

Sizzix has released some gorgeous new metal dies called Thinlits that we have just unpacked. 

Here is a selection of the dies below.

Roma made both of these cards using the lovely Spellbinder dies. The black, cream and brown tones look great together. 

The brick printed paper that she has used in the background in the card below is from Kaiser and is currently in stock.

Shirley made these 2 great cards recently.

The first card that she made is "Gorgus" from the Do Crafts magazine.  She is stamped out and coloured in with a variety of pens including Spectrum Noir alcohol based pens and Gelly Roller gel pens.

The card below is the Magnolia stamp from Stamp It.  It is also been coloured in using the Gelly Roller gel pens Spectrum Noir alcohol based pens.  I love the way Shirley has used 3 layers of ribbon to create a different look when she couldn't find the exact ribbon she wanted - she created her own.

Crafty Capers is 10!

Crafty Capers is celebrating our 10th birthday this year.

 As part of our birthday celebrations I would love for you to make us a birthday card that we can put up on a display wall. Recently for my birthday some of our customers made me a variety of cards and they are stunning so I thought it would be a great idea to have a display of birthday cards for the shop that have been made by our very clever customers. 

We will be having a few days of birthday celebrations very soon and I will release the dates of this celebration next week.

My birthday cards

I recently celebrated my birthday and had some beautiful cards made for me by some of our customers.

Robyn has been busy making some more gorgeous cards lately that we loved and wanted to share with you.

She has made her stunning Box Display Easel Card. Robyn combined two of our previous designs that we taught her in class and came up with the design below. She then allowed us to teach the design in the shop and the customers loved it.

 To decorate the inside of the frames she has used 3D Decoupage.

Great job Robyn!!!!!!

Shirley has been busy making more cards.

 This lovely card uses the Oval Spellbinders and the flower set of stamps from Stamp It. The flowers are coloured in with gel pens and Spectrum Noir pens. This set of stamps are great and we have made so many different cards with them.
