More Liquid Pearl creations

Shirley was playing with the Liquid Pearls and the set of flower rubber stamps from Stamp It  (set 71) and made these gorgeous creations below.
The sets of stamps are great value as you get 9 rubber stamps for $29.95 which works out to be only $3.33 per stamp

The mini butterflies on the card above are actually the scraps that are cut out when you use the Tonic Geared Butterfly ribbon or border punches - clever use of the off cuts!!!!!!

The stamp used below on this card was from the December release of Do Crafts stock.

Rosemary's lovely cards

Our very clever customers has been making amazing cards again.

Rosemary made this lovely selection of cards using the Spellbinder D-Lites dies.

Rosemary has combined her love of Spellbinder dies, punch art and Liquid Pearls to come up with these creations.  Flower punches have been used to decorate the tree and Liquid Pearls have been used to decorate the inside of the flowers. The two dies that Rosemary used on the three cards above is the Wrought Iron Fence and the Whimsical Tree.

Windows #1 die has been used on the two cards above. I love the way Rosemary put curtains in both of the windows - very clever. Window #1 is pictured below and this is a closed window.

All dies used on the cards above are in stock at Crafty Capers and are only $17.

When cutting with these dies it helps to include a layer of baking paper or grease proof paper into the stack - die, baking paper, card.
This extra layer helps you to get the card our of the dies with out ripping it.

Thanks for sharing your lovely creations with us Rosemary.

Colouring with Liquid Pearls

Have you ever coloured in with Liquid Pearls before?

This product is great to use and is one of the most easiest products to colour and blend with.

All you need to do is dip your brush in water and squeeze out the excess. Squeeze a small amount of the Liquid Pearl onto a plate and dip your brush into the pearls. Now start painting your image.
It is as easy as that!!!!!

To make sure your stamped image does not run you need to emboss your images as we have done (we used Silver and Black Sparkle embossing powder) or stamp with Staz On (this is a solvent based stamp pad and will not run when it comes into contact with water)

Liquid Pearl colours used above: Petal Pink, Rouge, Avocado

Liquid Pearl colours used above: Flamingo, Rouge, Ivy Green Avocado

Liquid Pearl colours used above: Hydrangea, White, Black

Liquid Pearl colours used above: Majestic Purple, Onyx Pearl, Silver Pearl

Liquid Pearls colours used above: Avocado, Buttercup, White Opal

The stamps we used on the cards are rubber stamps from Stamp It.

Spectrum Noir demonstrations

Have you ever wondered what we do at one of our demonstrations?

Here is the table and teaching area set up for when we did a Spectrum Noir demonstration in December

The Spectrum Noir pens are alcohol based markers that we use to colour in stamped and digital images with.

For the demo we had a heap of stamped images coloured in to give you an idea of what the Spectrum Pens look like when you use them.

We also had colour swatches made up so you can see all of the colours in the collection There are 168 colours in the complete collection.

During the demo sessions Jill works at the table colouring with the pens. Customers wonder in during the demo times and have a look at Jill using the product and what she had made with it.

The demos are a fantastic way to see how a product works and to see the whole range of product available.

Here are some samples that Jill coloured in on the day.
