Owls and cupcakes

As soon as I saw this owl printed paper from Doodlebug I just had to get it as the owls were so cute.

\We matched some Prismatics card stock colours up with the paper and then it sat out the back for a while as we were busy. When Jill had some time she whipped up this very cute card with it.

It is a gorgeous card that has a special surprise hiding behind the owl. When you pull on the brown tab on the left of the card the brown owl disappears but there is now a blue owl and a matching Dazzler Cupcake. Great job Jill.

The Dazzler sparkly Cupcakes come in a pack of 8 (various colours) for only $5.50. They are pre-made 3D embellishments that have glitter and bling on the frosting and the cherry. There are great colours in the pack. We have used them on male and female cards. As you can imagine they have been very popular since this card went up. We have also used them on 3 other cards along with the Dazzler Presents/Gift Boxes.

Make sure you pop in to see the card as well as the other male cards we have up on display at the moment.

Robyn's egg

Over the last few months you have seen a few of Robyn's gorgeous cards that she has created.
Robyn (who is also a very accomplished embroider) has also recently taken up making Faberge Eggs.
She purchases the emu eggs which are empty and come with the door cut out. She then carefully paints it inside and out . The egg is then decorated and for this egg she went with the sea theme. There is a lovely dolphin sitting inside the egg and a mirror on the inside of the door. All of that edging around the door is our ribbon that is ever so carefully glued on by hand.
This egg was made for her lovely granddaughter Lily.

Tigerlily

This display went up last week using the Tigerlily collection from Kaiser and has had a great response from our customers. It is quite a bright display and we have used 6 different shades of orange including Hopi, Saltillo, Marigold, Cheddar, Apricot and Yam (all from the Bazzill collection) to complement the lovely papers in the paper pad. We also used a Stamp It stamp, StazOn, eyelets and Stickles to decorate the cards. The Tonic punch (butterfly strip) was very popular and has sold out but we have more on the way.
All other product used on this display is available in store.
